I'm all wrong

by Aashika Sulaiman Ahamat

I never searched

But I found

I never wanted

but I got

I never lost

But I'm wounded

I can't run away from the present into the past

I can't escape what comes to me in the future

My dreams are just a little heavier today

Because you are not there anymore to share them with me

A crazy world it is and I have no choice but to swing on...

Hoping that you'll come back and find me

And take me back... imperfect as I am

Is it too much to dream for?

Don't leave me with these tears

For I can't cry any more
