Anushka Ravishankar

Anushka Ravishankar
   

Based in Chennai, India, Anushka has written about a dozen books for children. Her favoured genre is nonsense verse. Her books have won awards in France and Italy, and three of them have won a Special Mention in the International White Ravens' Catalogue.

Anushka is also a playwright, and has written plays for both, adults and children. In 2004, she was commissioned by the Royal Court Theatre to write a short play for their International Season in March.
